Possible server-problems due to new Swedish surveillance lawPossible server-problems due to new Swedish surveillance law

The Swedish parliament just voted for a new surveillance law, giving one of the country's intelligence organisations full access to all information transferred through the Internet and that is crossing Sweden's borders. In order to protect our customers and partners, we will migrate our servers off-shore.

Penseo is working closely with a large number of NGOs and political organisations, of which several are working with (and storing) information that under no circumstances should be revealed to a broader public (we are for instance working with a number of organisations for women's rights, for crime victims and political organisations). Here at Penseo we honor those organisations' needs for secure information transfer and storage.

We have therefore decided to move the majority of our server resources off-shore. For customers and web visitors originating from Sweden, we will provide gateways which establish secure and highly encrypted connections to foreign servers, hosting our partners' web applications and databases.

All international customers and partners will exclusively be hosted on servers located outside of Sweden.

All customers and partners who are affected of the migration process have been informed about the upcoming changes.
